Lindsa is still in Kirtland, OH

So no, I am not in Spain yet. President Sorensen told me that he spoke with the visa office and they were thinking maybe third or last week of August...it was a little bit hard for me to hear that at first, but I know I am where the Lord needs me right now. It is not always easy for me to be patient, but the Lord is truly teaching me. But I finally have an area! oh yea! And we have this investigator who is awesome. He said he always knew there had to be more than just the bible because it didn't seem complete, and now when he reads the Book of Mormon with the Bible he is like they fit! And he knows it is true and wants to be baptized, but he has to come to church!! He didn't come yesterday, but we spoke to him on the phone and he knows he needs to.

But I love my companions, being a Kirtland sister means you already know very well all of your potential companions. I am in a triple up because I may be gone soon. But they are Sis. Mazza (from Argentina who helps me with spanish when we have time) and Sister Decker. Sis. Decker was called to the Phillipines, went there for 5 months, got sick and had to be at home a few months, and was called here for the remainder of her mission. Wow. And I worry that I don't have my visa yet. She is awesome, they both are. We get along really well.

I have had my ups and downs being out here on a mission, but just as Nephi said the Lord has been with me in all my "afflictions" and I know He is mindful of me. And just as Ammon, I know that as to my strength I am nothing, but in the strength of the Lord I can do all things! And who can glory too much in God!!?? He truly is there for each and every one of us. I know this. I have had my moments where I felt alone, and then I realized I was not turning to Him. He is there, waiting for us to take His hand!

1. Do you get to go to families for dinner? Last transfer as full sites no. This transfer, not sure because sadly my companionship only has 2 days a week in our area, the rest at Kirtland, so we don't know if we will.
2. Did Sister Frisch go home? yes :(
3. What is the town like that you are in? Well, I live in Kirtland. It is cute. Ohio is beautiful. The main part of my new area is almost an hour and a half away from Kirtland, where I live, so that is interesting. I am living now in the Hyrum Smith home (yes, he used to live there), it is right across from the Temple, and 2 minute drive from sites, but not directly on sites like my last home.
