Lindsay had a baptism

But anyway, this week was good as always, but we had some really sad moments. One of our investigators who had a baptismal date, Cinthia, dropped us. WEll, she still wants us to come over, but she decided to go to another church. I wanted to cry I was so sad. I think it has a lot to do with the fact her husband wants to go to this other church, and when Cinthia and Felix finally came to church with us, they did not have a good experience in sacrament meeting because it was so loud. Which is true, they are our fourth investigator not to like Sacrament because of the noise. It is so sad, because there are barely any kids in our ward, but they are allowed to just run up and down the aisles. We told the bishop what our investigators said and he gave this whole class of relief society and priesthood together on reverence. He is awesome. But, again, soooo incredibly sad because of Cinthia. She is so awesome, I am so sad, but we are praying for a miracle.
We have more amazing people we are helping to prepare for baptism. I just love all these people so much. Thank you mom for the chocolate chips, I made cookies for all of our investigators. Even though there was only one bag of chocolate chips, I doubled the recipe and all of our investigators got cookies. They loved them ha ha. ANd they love when I make them banana bread or brownies, because all those things are really only in the united states. Don´t worry, I do not eat the treats when we are able to make them.

What you liked about President Hinckleys visit to Valencia on Friday: well, I only got to see them for my interview, then we had to leave for appointments, and they had to leave to head back up to Valencia. But I loved seeing them, they are so amazing, I love them! Oh, I asked him about Bishop Ashton and he´s like yea we know them, and talked a bit about them. But yea, I just liked being able to see them. And Hermana Hinckley has to be our substitute mother while we are here and she´s awesome.
Favorite scripture for the week: Recently I have just loved sharing 2 Ne 2:25 with people. It is so simple and short, but it tells us that we are that we might have joy. Heavenly Father did not send us to the earth to be miserable, but to have joy. And it is through the gospel of Jesus CHrist we experience real and pure and lasting joy, even throuh our challenges.
A stupid thing you did: a stupid thing I did? well, we forgot to change our clocks yesterday, so we went to pick up our investigator for church and she had been sleeping and we were like oh no, and she was like it is only 8:45, didn´t you change your clocks? we were like, uhh no, ha ha. Our one chance to sleep longer and we missed it!! ha ha
Something fun you did with your companion: we always do fun stuff, ha ha, um I don´t know. We heart attacked one of our investigators with a baptismal date, other than that, we don´t have time to go do something fun that isn´t missionary work. But thats ok because missionary work is fun!
Do they go trick or treating or what on Halloween: here we saw a few trick or treaters, but they don´t really do it here. People will dress up and there will be parties, but at least here in Valencia trick or treating is not really very big.
