Lindsay Christmas

Anyway, I was so glad to be able to see your faces, it was such a wonderful Christmas present. It felt very rejuvenating to see and talk with you, and then afterward back to work!

Even though this was Christmas week, this was a tough week. The people we spoke to were so hard hearted! I was thinking, it is Christmas!!! But here Christmas really isn´t a huge thing, I mean nothing is done here for Christmas, it didn´t even feel like Christmas. And mom your package still isn´t here :(

But it was still a good week in that we were focused even more on our Savior, and all our lessons were of course based on remembering the birth of Christ. So it was my most spiritual Christmas ever, which is what is most important. The people who did listen to us were able to feel the spirit, and shared with us their testimonies of our Savior. My goal for Christmases to come is to honestly focus on serving others. I love everything about Christmas, with Santa Clause and presents and everything, and those are still all good and fun. But I want to make sure that I first serve others, and find out their needs.

And I hope that you at least read the story of Christ´s birth, even if you didn´t do the nativity....

Anyway, I love you all so much. I am so blessed to have you as my family. I know that I am in the work of the Lord! I know that when we have faith in Him, we have power to do all the things He requires (Moroni 7:33). There are so many people that we have to help bring to the gospel. So many people are looking, and we have to help them find it! Pray everyday to have a missionary opportunity, and then when it comes, know that the Lord has promised to help us in those moments. He won´t abandon us. But we have to be doing our part and strenghtening our testimony first. Church, the temple, prayer, and of course daily scripture study!! These things are here to help us, they seem simple, but they are what lead us down the path back to our Heavenly Father!

I love you all and hope you have a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!
