Brent had a birthday

Hello everyone,

Thanks for the birthday wishes! This week has been a great birthday week we have been working really hard. We were gonna have a baptism this Sunday but Ignacio didn{t pass his interview :( We had some suprises from him so we will have to wait until next saturday to baptize him but it will all be good. We have found some new investigators this week and one of them is really good, his name is mario and his wife is a menos activa that is starting to reactivate and he is way cool so I have high hopes for him. We met another new investigator buying grecoerios and then she invited us to go to a prayer circle with her and so we said yes and when we went over there it was totally crazy" First we started singing or should I say rocking out to Jesus songs and then they started going around saying what or who they were going to pray for. During this time of sharing one of the ladies started crying because her life is really complicated right now and she doesn´t know why she isn´t happy. So I took the opportunity to whip out the Book of Mormon and teach a lesson about our heavenly Father´s plan of Happiness for each one of us and how the restored gospel is essential to have in order to be able to follow the plan. It was pretty awesome! Everyone just kind of starred at me after words and a few said amen and praise Jesus. It was an interesting experiencing. My apostasy vain throbbed a lot when this one guy started giving blessings to everyone...it was an interesting night. People are so lost and they don´t even know it, I am so grateful for the blessings of the restored gospel and the security that comes with keeping the commandments.

I have been making a lot of changes to the office and I have been making and effort to study the language every day. I have been studying imperfect subjuntive and I feel like I have gotten a lot better at it. I just had interviews with President and I think that I might be leaving the office in this next three weeks so I don´t know if I will be excited or sad...I will just go wherever and work as hard as I can when I get there. Honestly, I am not that worried about it though.
Is everyone excited for general conference? Only a couple more weeks and we get to listen to the prophet! I am getting so excited. How is everyone doing? Have you set any family goals? What will you do for spring break? I love you all!

Love,

Elder Reed
