Yes mother, I loved the make up samples, and I don´t think I told you this, but I also loved the valentine cards. My companion and I are going to make VAlentines for everyone. And I have already made the chocolate chip cookies, but my comp and I like to eat the dough with her vanilla ice cream...don´t worry though, we did give some actual cookies away to people ha ha.
Well, we had a couple ups and a couple downs this week. Elizabeth is not getting baptized this week, but we have 2 people with fechas for the 26th. One of them is from Romania, and the language barrier is pretty tought. We are praying really hard that she can understand what we teach her. We know the Lord will help us, she has the desire to be baptized, so He will help!
Oh, and basically all of our Pday today hermana preston and I did some deep piso cleaning, so you should be so proud of me mom.
It is amazing how much I feel like I have just grown up and learned while being here on a mission. I look back at who I was before, and I am so greatful that I have had this opportunity to not only help others know the gospel, but that I have changed so much as well. I have learned that we should never stop trying to be better. Everyday we have the chance to get closer to our Heavenly Father, and help build His kingdom.
Family, I hope that you help the missionaries. Not just by feeding them, but if they bring someone to church go talk to that person (really we need to talk to everyone at church that is new or we don´t know), ask them about the people they are working with when you have them over for dinner. Be prayerful about people you know that could be ready for the gospel. Honestly, the Lord puts those He has prepared not only in the path of missionaries, but also in the path of members. Please just pray for opportunities to share the gospel, and make a list of nonmembers you know and pray about them to know who could be ready to accept the restored gospel.
Anyway, I love you all so much. I can´t believe that we are in February of 2011! Time has flown! Connor, I love that you want to make the temple a priority in your life, that is sooo wonderful. And you live so close, you can go all the time! I miss the temple, I am excited to go after I am done. If you always keep the temple a priority, you will strive to always remain worthy to enter, and as you are worthy to enter the temple you will feel the spirit more in your life and know that you are doing what the Lord wants.
Have a wonderful week!!! goodbye!!!!!
