Lindsay in Valencia

This has been such an amazing week. I still can´t believe how the time here in Valencia has been, it has been miracle after miracle every day. And again, the joy that I have felt is just inexplicable. I get to help the Lord bring people to the saving waters of baptism. When they enter in the gate they have taken a huge step! So many people do not know the truth of how to gain eternal life, and we get to share that with people. One of the baptismal dates we set this week was with a husband and wife. They will then be able to be sealed in the temple and become an eternal family, their 3 year old son can be sealed to them. I mean it is beautiful, I love that family so much and I am so excited to help them prepare.

You just can´t really know how hard and wonderful a mission is until you come on one. I mean this is the hardest thing I have ever done. But it is the most fulfilling thing I have ever done. I love having to sprint to catch the bus, but then miss it, but then there is someone we talk to as we wait for the next bus who we know we needed to speak with. I mean the way that the Lord works is that He requires obedience and a willing heart, and He takes care of the rest. I know this gospel is true with all my heart, and I love the opportunity I have to share it, to be able to be an instrument in the LOrd´s hands. I mean this is salvation, this is a big deal, people have to know! And sometimes it is totally scary to have to go talk to someone, especially since I don´t speak the language very well, but the second I remember that this is the only way for someone to return to live with God, my fear is taken away. The Lord helps us so much, because this is His work.
