Brent

We work everyday from about 11 to 6 or 7 in the office and then we go out and work in our sector. Our ward is amazing and the Lord blesses us so much, whenever we go out into our sector we have success and I know that it is the Lord blessing us for working so hard in the office because after we work in our sector until 10 we go back to the office and get another couple of hours of work in. We then wake up at 6:15 to play futbol with our zone and wash rinse and repeat. I have not gotten much sleep lately but it is amazing to feel the Lord strengthening me as I continue to work hard and fulfill my purpose as a missionary.
Good news is that we have some progressing investigators working with that will be baptized this next sunday. I am so excited for them!!!
Answeres to your questions:
What have you learned: My testimony of the influence that a good ward can have on missionary work grew immensely. This ward is so ready and willing and more importantly DOING missionary work that we only have to teach. I love it. Missionaries are full time teachers, members are full time finders. Believe me this makes a huge difference.
Favorite scripture this week: I was studying in Alma when he and Amulek were teaching and not having success when they went to the home of zeezorm to heal him but it wasn't until after that healing did they start having success. Sometimes their is one event that will act as a catalyst in our lives and open the windows of heaven to pour down blessings upon us. We have to continue to work hard and recognize the opportunities that the Lord blesses us with to have success. As missionaries it is essential we realize we are just not teaching doctrine but we are here to heal the souls of all men whom we come in contact with through the word of God.
