Brents letter

Buenas Tardes familia,

I´m not sure if I already told you but I met my new mission president, he is so cool, and he says there are going to be a lot of changes in the mission over the next few months so I´m excited to see what they are. This week was great, I got sick, hit by a bus(I´m fine it just clipped me and gave me a dead arm) and met some amazing people! There was a lot of adversity this week and I know it was because we were working hard, Satan was trying to tempt us to stop working but it didn´t work because we pressed forward and now have 10 more fechas and progressing investigators! The elect truly do come in all shapes and sizes. We met this woman named Clara and we only talked to her for five minutes before we knew that she was golden, and you never would have thought that by looking at her. She is very sweet and we just found out she has a friend that is a member as well so it´s perfect. Testimony meeting yesterday was amazing, even though it was a monsoon outside. We walk everywhere(we would bike but they keep getting flat tires, and as soon as they are fixed we´ll bike again) so we literally got soaked to the bone because spending two hours in rain that is falling horizontally will get anybody soaked regardless of what they are wearing. All of our appointments fell through to so we ended up studying together about the creation of our country in the Book of Mormon and studying the prophecies therein.
We only take buses twice a week to get to other parts of our sector, because our sector is huge! There are a lot of horses around but not that many. Two days ago we saw this Burracho leading a horse around and yelling at it, it was hilarious. We do have hot water because Cauquenes is pretty big in comparison to everywhere else, I don´t really know though.´
